Passerina cyanea - Indigo Bunting
It’s his first summer.
Here's an 'extinct' bird, the Ivory-billed Woodpecker. I know they're still out and about...somewhere. Also, I'm going to Oklahoma tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some neat bird pictures.
A rehabilitated, juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk moments before being released back into the wild.
A Tufted Titmouse flying away from the feeder. The one behind the feeder was a bit surprised by the other one flying so suddenly.
I saw my first Northern Harrier today, at first I thought it was a Northern Goshawk, but later I discovered it was a Northern Harrier. They're both beautiful birds though. It was amazing.
The water at my creek is always so clear in the fall and winter.
Canada Goose
They were in one of the Vernal Pools we were monitoring. They left as soon as we got to the pool.
