We Had A Lot Of Birds In Our Area On The Christmas Bird Count.

Imagine how many cool bird discoveries there would be if everyone knew how to identify birds. Everyone would know exactly what bird they're looking at. Like, "Woah, hey, check out this new bird species I found today. I know it's a new species because it's nothing like any other bird. Ha ha. Yeah. I know birds."

This little song sparrow was very curious about my camera, and right after I took these pictures, I couldn’t get it to sit still again. Such a sweet little fellow.

Blue Jay

It was only about ten feet away, and it didn’t fly away while I was taking pictures, it didn’t even fly away when I was four feet away. Maybe it was defending the pile of peanuts that was right next to it? What a great bird!
