I know this is very out of the blue, especially since I have been offline this website for a hot minute lol. But I find this to be very important to share:

If you choose to not listen to the podcast, I will not hold it against you. You are your own individual person with your own agency and I acknowledge that. The internet and marketing is very biased atm and I want to make it clear that I do not want to pressure anyone too much. However, I do encourage you to listen to what the hosts and family have to say about this case. It is a seemingly small case with huge holes; representing the so many unsolved and cold cases that could easily be solved if we were able to raise even a little more awareness so we can show how much these cases mean to the families, victims, and surrounding communities.

Anyways, I have to continue being slow here. School stuff is a lot and the amount of work is overwhelming, so I hope no one minds if the silence continues a bit longer. I hope you all have good present moments to counter the bad ones :)

I'm doing fanart of Mitsuri Kanroji from Demon Slayer! I love her so so much!! But I also just bought and finished the 17th book. And omg, my heart... for those who haven't read or seen the series yet, you'll die for it. I thought it was overrated at first, but I tried reading it and my heart soared with the story!

Anyways, this is just a cleanup sketch and I'm going to start doing some test lineart and colors. I'm still learning, so I might as well test what works and not as much as I can!

I was playing around with my beads last night and decided to make these. I'm thinking of doing Wil and Tommy next? 🤔

I'm Back!

Sorry I haven't been posting for a month or so. But I'm going to do mjy best to get a little better! School has gotten me so busy and I haven't had the time to get back on. To make up, lemme show ya'll what I've been working on lately! I'll show it in another new post soon...

The feelings wheel is a fantastic tool to use for many occasions. Both writing and noticing your own feelings are my top uses. I greatly recommend it.

Feelings Wheel

This is the feelings wheel by Geoffrey Roberts, shown to me by my therapist. My initial thought was, "what amazing synonyms to use for diverse emotional vocabulary!"

More than that, this wheel is great for understanding your characters inner motivations and reactions to situations. For example, if a character constantly feels helpless, then their overarching characteristics will be that they are fearful.

Characters who are less emotionally aware may use words and act in the inner most circle. Those much more aware of their emotions may describe themselves or express and use words from the outer most circle.
