YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH!! It'd be so nice to see Max battling for P1 again because he's always so far ahead (good for him, but also I think it contributes a lot to people saying its just the car, which obviously isnt true)

Funnily enough tho the race starts at 5pm for me,, it's one of the few that isn't at some ungodly time (....unlike the saudi arabian gp)

just wanted to say i can’t follow back from my main, but hi!! i’d also love to have some f1 moots to talk about the races with (or well, moots in spirit) since there’s only so often i can ramble on to my IRLs haha. personally, i’m all for the China Chaos Era here and i’m kinda hoping we get some more action in the rain this weekend. Ik some people have been saying Max is good in the wet, but he seemed to be genuinely having a difficult time in sprint quali, so it could get exciting at the very front (hopium)

Anyways it was so interesting to see him struggle during sprint quali because he didn't seem to have grip in some corners even though he was on a flying lap (so hypothetically the tyres should have been somewhat warm) but I'm not much of a engineering person so who knows. I'm a fan of his so obviously I wish him the best for the race but it was super interesting to see the shift after it started raining. If it rains during the race maybe we'll get to see more of a battle for the top3 which is always exciting :))

Nothing is more entertaining than watching Max's tipsy post-race interviews because he's really just saying anything rn

I just saw your post re the rumours. Marko has stated vcarb needs to give Ricciardo a car he can succeed in and praised Yuki for how strong he’s been. Meikes the tp has backed Daniel and stated he’s on pace and improving. And Bayer the ceo of the team, has said the technical feedback and development Daniel is giving is very strong, benefitting Yuki and for the team too and has stated Daniel’s car has issues. For Yuki, it’s been very high praise and highlighting how comfortable he is is a car.

Adding this to it!! I was trying to find some of the team comments but it's like 2am here lol. I didn't mention Yuki too much because it was a daniel focused post, but the praise going his way is definitely warranted.

Its F1 race week again!! Also a reminder that F1 academy is also racing in Miami (3-5th of May) for their second race of the season! :)
