ESP || Pequeño video de la evolución del "corazón inundado". Lo que más me gusta de esta ilustración es todos los significados que tiene. Me encanta como a cada persona le transmite una cosa completamente diferente. La verdad es que esta ilustración la cree en un muy mal momento de mi vida donde sentía que me ahogaba en mis propios pensamientos, sentimientos y emociones. Al intentar plasmar todos mis sentimientos en una ilustración supongo que me quise decir a mi misma que en cambio de ahogarme tenía que explorar todo lo que sentía, nadar y bucear en ellos sin rendirme y sin dejarme llevar por la corriente que intentaba ahogarme. Ahora miro este corazón lleno de submarinistas y veo belleza y fuerza. A vosotros que os transmite? 🌊💙

ENG || Small video of the evolution of the "flooded heart". What I like most about this illustration is all the meanings it has. I love how each person sees a completely different thing. The truth is that I created this illustration r in a very bad moment of my life where I felt that I was drowning in my own feelings and emotions. When trying to capture all my feelings in an illustration I guess I wanted to tell to myself that instead of drowning I had to explore everything I felt, swim and dive into them without surrendering and without being carried away by the current that tried to drown me. Now I look at this heart full of divers and I see beauty and strength. What does this illustration say to you? 🌊💙

ES|| Es tiempo de helados!! 🍦☀️ Yo, como no puedo comérmelos, los dibujo bien cuquis con sus pestañas largas. A decir verdad, he hecho una pandilla entera de heladitos de colores que, a pesar del calor que hace, aguantan monísimos siempre con una sonrisa en la cara. La pandilla “Helados felices” está formada por: Cream, Choco-mint, Scoops, Sprinkles, RoseBerry y Wavy. Este de aquí es “Wavy” un helado de crema de vainilla con virutas de colores, dos barquillos y un cono de galleta con sabor vainilla decorada con corazoncitos. A pesar de su aspecto, Wavy tiene un carácter tranquilo y siempre está disponible a escuchar los problemas de los otros y aconsejarlos lo mejor que sus habilidades le permitan. Es ideal saborearlo para tomarse un respiro o en un momento de llorera incontrolada.🤍

EN|| It’s ice cream season!!🍦☀️ Since I can't eat them, I draw very cute ice creams with their long eyelashes. To tell you the truth, I’ve made a whole crew of colourful fun ice creams that, despite the heat, don’t melt, instead they hold up with a smile on their face. The “Happy Ice Cream” gang is made up of: Cream, Choco-mint, Scoops, Sprinkles, RoseBerry and Wavy. This one is “Wavy,” a heart decorated vanilla cone with a vanilla flavoured wavy ice cream, sprinkles and two biscuits. Despite his appearance, Wavy has a calm demeanour and is always available to listen to other people’s problems and advise them to the best of her abilities. It’s ideal to savour it while taking a break or in a moment of uncontrolled crying.🤍

ESP || Hace meses os enseñe un detalle de esta hermosa ilustración que me encargaron, ahora la podéis ver entera. Esta ilustración estaba destinada a promover un concierto benéfico a favor de un orfanato en Camerún, por este motivo todas la flores y animales que aparecen en la ilustración viven en Camerún, un país con una biodiversidad tan rica y diversa (debido a sus diferentes zonas climáticas y geográficas) es conocida como “África en miniatura”. Para ajustarme a la realidad del entorno del orfanato intenté que la mayoría de ellos habitaran o fueran endémicos concretamente de Nkongsamba. Por otra parte también intenté incorporar especies en diferentes estados de peligro de extinción para dar visibilidad a todas aquellas plantas, flores y animales que desgraciadamente están desapareciendo mayoritariamente a mano de los humanos. Este es el caso de la ranita granate “Cardioglossa manengouba” que esta clasificada como critica en la lista de animales en peligro de extinción.🌻🐸 ENG || Some months ago I showed you a close up of this beautiful illustration that was commissioned from me, now you can see it in its entirety. This illustration was intended to promote a charity concert in favor of an orphanage in Cameroon, for this reason all the flowers and animals that appear in the illustration live in Cameroon, a country with such rich and diverse biodiversity (due to its different climatic and geographical zones) is known as "Africa in miniature". To adjust to the reality of the environment of the orphanage, most the species live or are endemic specifically to the Nkongsamba region. On the other hand, I also tried to incorporate threatened species to give visibility to all the plants, flowers and animals that unfortunately are disappearing mostly at the hands of humans. This is the case of the garnet frog "Cardioglossa manengouba" which is classified as critically endangered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.🌻🐸

CAT || Fa uns mesos us vaig ensenyar un detall d'aquesta bonica il·lustració que em van encarregar, ara la podeu veure sencera. Aquesta il·lustració estava destinada a promoure un concert benèfic a favor d'un orfenat al Camerun, per aquest motiu totes les flors i animals que apareixen a la il·lustració viuen al Camerun, un país amb una biodiversitat tan rica i diversa que és coneguda com "Àfrica en miniatura". Per ajustar-me a la realitat de l'entorn de l'orfenat vaig intentar que la majoria de les especies habitessin o fossin endèmiques concretament de Nkongsamba. D'altra banda també vaig intentar incorporar espècies en diferents estats de perill d'extinció per donar visibilitat a totes aquelles plantes, flors i animals que, malauradament, estan desapareixent majoritàriament per culpa dels humans. Aquest és el cas de la granota granat "Cardioglossa Manengouba" que esta classificada com a critica en la llista d'animals en perill d'extinció.🌻🐸

ES|| Como ya sabréis me encantan los animales y los perros no son una excepción. Hace unos años tuve el placer de convivir con una hermosa greyhound blanca como la nieve con topitos negros en las orejas y ahora son “tía” de un precioso galgo atigrado, así que tengo especial cariño a estas preciosas criaturas de nariz larga y ojitos tiernos. Hoy es el día del galgo porque, aunque estos perros necesitan nuestra ayuda todos los días del año, cada año por estas fechas en España, al finalizar la temporada de caza, después de probablemente años de crueldad, miedo y malos tratos, se abandonan, torturan y/o matan miles de galgos que ya no son considerados como útiles para cazar. Los animales no son propiedades para comprar, usar y tirar, ni herramientas para ganar dinero con el negocio que es la caza. Si estás pensando en compartir tu vida y tu amor con un peludo, adopta, no compres ni seas cómplice. 🌱

EN|| As you may already know I love animals, and dogs are no exception. Some years ago, I had the pleasure of sharing my home with a beautiful white greyhound with black spots in her ears, and now I’m an “aunt” to a gorgeous tabby galgo, so I’m especially fond of these precious creatures with long noses and sweet eyes. Today is world galgo day because, although galgos need our help all year long, every year around these days in Spain, when the hunting season ends, after probably years of cruelty, fear and mistreatments, thousands of galgos deemed no apt to continue hunting are abandoned, tortures and/or killed. Animals are not proprieties we can buy, use and throw away nor either are tools to gain money with the business that is hunting. If you are thinking of sharing your life and your love with an animal, adopt, do not buy or be an accomplice.🌱

Este pastel en el que están trabajando tan duramente los conejitos (bueno, casi todos, algunos solo saben hacer travesuras y comerse trocitos de escondidas) me recuerda a las monas de cuando era pequeña, aunque la faltan las plumas de colores y los pollitos

EN|| Enjoy the "mona" and chocolate! This cake that the bunnies are working so hard on (well, almost all of them, some of them only know how to get into mischief and eat little pieces while hiding) reminds me of the “monas” my childhood, although it lacks the colored feathers and the little chicks.

CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL (2019)

ESP || Hace un tiempo la ilustradora @emmaillustrate creo la Interesante campaña “ kidlit4climate” para solidarizarse con "climate strike", un movimiento muy necesario para luchar contra las políticas que no tienen en cuenta el medio ambiente. Yo me quise unir aportando mi granito de arena con un universo que tiene claro que el cambio climático es real y pide ayuda para parar la contaminación que generamos de mil maneras diferentes y que está matando el planeta y muchas de las especies que lo habitan. 🌙🌎☀️ ENG || Some time ago the illustrator @emmaillustrate created the absolutely awesome campaign #kidlit4climate to show solidarity with the much needed #climatestrike movement. I wanted to contribute with a universe who has it clear: climate change is real and we need to stop the pollution that we generate in a thousand different ways and that is killing the planet and many of the species that inhabit it. ☀️🌎🌙
