What's ur opinion on Dyl amd Eric??? ❗️❗️
I assume this means their relationship, so here we go. Remember, I'm not a professional psychologist or anything. I'm just an autistic dude who likes school shooters a lot.
My opinion on their relationship is quite complex. But to put it simply, I believe it was actually rather one-sided, maybe even toxic. Don't misconstrue my words, I don't think anyone manipulated each other or anything, I just think it was toxic in a way that they enabled each hothers bad thoughts and behaviors.
From what I've seen, Eric seems rather dependent. He often refers to Dylan as his "best friend," and he gets very mad when people leave him. Especially if he liked them (e.g: when he sent threats to girls who rejected or dumped him). Eric obviously hated being left, probably due to never having anyone besides his brother, and he was probably insecure about his disabilities as well. He hated himself, I believe, and desperately craved validation or, at the very least, someone who was willing to ignore his flaws and stay.
Dylan seems to me to be more toxic. He was very depressed and suicidal, yes, but that doesn't mean he's innocent. He expressed annoyance at Eric "copying his style," something he told Zack and/or Nate, I believe, and was also a very jealous person. Like when Zack got a girlfriend and he got very depressed. I believe he knew Eric was upset at people and didn't really have anyone else. I'm not saying Dylan manipulated Eric, I'm saying he knew Eric wouldn't leave.
Dylan to me always seemed like the more violent of the two. Not physically, of course, neither of them were physically violent before hand. But Dylan lashed out quite often, called a librarian a bitch, kicked over chairs, he was the one who first thought of NBK. Originally, he wanted to do it with a girl (I belive Sascha?) And then Zack. And *then* Eric. By that time, be was slightly embarrassed to be calling it NBK because, you know, it didn't really resemble the movie. And, Eric, who craved validation and respect, obviously agreed.
Tldr; Dylan and Eric's relationship was like an endless cycle of enabling. Dylan kept Eric from being alone, and Eric enabled Dylans violent fantasises.
its funny when theres a tcc post people in the comment be legit crucifying them and wonder why people do shit 🙀
“get help” “u are disgusting” while further marginalizing and stigmatizing already mentally ill individuals
what do they expect? they always talk about empathy or sympathy for the victims, but they dont have any for the one in front of them
people use the word empathy like a badge of honor, these mfs dont care. they just want to claim the moral high ground to feel good abt their egos
