As someone who hates Rhysand and has interacted with the acotar fandom, I’ve seen a lot of insane comments being made.
But one thing that has always confused me is how Rhysand’s stans love to claim how he’s so morally grey but then be surprised and angry when people don’t like him. Like yeah that’s what being a morally grey character means, not everyone will like them.
(I don’t agree with him being morally grey, I think he’s just evil)
But also the fact that they claim that he’s morally grey, but justify every single thing he does and says. Because Rhysy is perfect and he’s never done anything wrong 🥺🥺🥺.
So how can he be morally grey if he’s perfect and has done nothing wrong?
Aegon: Do you think that 12 bottles of vodka is enough for the party? If not I’ll just call Hel and Aemond and ask them to pick up more after they grab Daeron and the fireworks.
Otto: This is your dads funeral??
Aegon: Yeah, that’s what I just said, the party.
*explosion in the background*
Aegon: I think Criston might need your help with the barbecue.
Midwife: Aw, what a lovely baby. Do you have a name, yet?
Aegon: Yeah, Aegon
Midwife: What a lovely name
Aegon: Thanks *turns to Helaena* what do you think we should call the baby?
Midwife: . . .
Helaena: . . .
Modern HOTD AU where Alicent tries to kill her rich husband Viserys, but every murder attempt fails in a comical way
Locks him outside the house in the middle of winter - Viserys thinks she’s just asleep and goes into his shed and goes back into loving his hobbies. After this, he’s very grateful that she was asleep which forced him to seek shelter in his shed and find his old things. He often tells this story at holidays, birthdays and any event.
Trips him down the stairs - Daemon is actually going up the stairs and catches his brother. Due to this, Viserys and Daemon start going to the gym together as they think it happened because of Viserys’ health. The brothers are now even closer than before.
Alicent gets sick of it, so after a night out with her friends, she comes back drunk and pulls out her gun to shoot Viserys. She misses and hits an assassin that was hired to kill Viserys. Viserys is extremely grateful to his wife.
I have issues with only men being able to be High Lord, as it just doesn’t make sense as to why magic would be sexist, but if we follow this logic, why would anyone apart form the Night Court give a shit that Feyre is High Lady?
The magic didn’t choose her. It’s just a title that Rhysand gave her. The other High Lords don’t answer to Rhysand. So why should they care?
And let’s say (although I find this nearly impossible to happen) that Rhysand and Feyre disagree on an important political matter, who do the High Lords listen to? Rhysand, chosen by the magic or Feyre, a woman who was given the title by her husband?
“High Lady” is just a title that looks pretty but is ultimately worthless.
When I show up to the „Alicent’s biggest fan” competition but Criston Cole is already there
*Young Rhaenicent*
Alicent: Hey, are you okay?
Rhaenyra: Yeah, why?
Alicent: It’s just that when we were flying on Syrax you didn’t point and say “cows” when you saw them
Viserys: *walks into Alicent’s room* Hey, do you know why I have no money in my wallet? I could have sworn it was full this morning.
Alicent: *hiding new dresses behind her* I think you misplaced it.
