Aemond and Aegon made a bet about who could mew the longest. Aegon forgot about it after 3 minutes and Aemond has never stopped
Jaehaera: *painting Aemond’s nails*
Aemond: I just don’t know what they want from me! My plans are perfect- Hey no- You’re going outside my nails- Anyway, I think they’re just jealous. Mummy always said that I’m perfect just the way I am
Jaehaera: It’s them, not you
Aemond: Of course it’s them! I’m so happy to finally be validated in my feelings. . . Don’t forget the glitter
When I show up to the „Alicent’s biggest fan” competition but Criston Cole is already there
RIP Jace you should have been playing horror games and waking up your mother with your screams
Wouldn’t that Driftmark scene where Viserys is like „where did you hear this from?” Be so much better if AEGON stepped in. The camera pans to Alicent and it looks Viserys is going to yell at her and then BOOM Aegon says „it was me”.
I know he does go along with Aemond but that’s because Aemond said he heard it from Aegon.
But that scene is the moment that Ageon truly realises that Alicent’s paranoia may not be just paranoia. His father clearly doesn’t care about his maimed brother.
Alicent is the only one standing up for Aemond and if she’s gone, who’s gonna protect her children then?
This would then start to show the shift in Aegon’s character from someone carefree to someone who wants to protect his family (like in the book)
What if when Aemond saw Alicent protect him so viciously during Driftmark, he internalised it hard? He saw her murderous rage and disdain and thought to himself, „this is what it means to be strong”. Nobody saw her as a weakling then.
What if after that he saw her bitterness seep deeper into her core and consume her from within, and said „this is what it means to be strong.” No one is underestimating her now.
His rage is his, but it’s also hers. He saw her anger and decided that he too needs to be angry, angry and powerful.
If he’s angry like her, then he’s not weak and no one is laughing at him anymore.
I feel like Rhysand is just written kinda weird in the first book. Like he wants the curse broken too, right? So why would he tell Amarantha about Tamlin having a girlfriend, instead of waiting for them to break the curse? Like surely he should of at least considered the possibility that Tamlin might panic and send her away, because after all, it is Amarantha. Like he kinda shot himself in the foot with that one.
I guess that’s because SJM needed the plot to move forward UTM but like surely she could of made up something different. Because now Rhysand looks kinda dumb.
And then UTM the deal with Feyre. I guess you could argue that he likes to feel powerful and wanted to piss of Tamlin, but like FEYRE’S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN BREAK THE CURSE! Surely you would want to give her the best chances
Aegon: Thank you Heavenly Father for this gift. Thank you for life, thank you for love, thank you for providing-
Helaena: Aegon, just pass the bong.
